Party Crashers

Our new neighbors turned out to have three girls 5,7,9. So Lauren and Emma have a new friend next store. Saturday they asked to do the Slip and Slide and wanted to ask Karley (5) to come over, they went to ask her to come over and play, and they some how got themselves invited to the 9 year old sister's party. Well it was a Swim & Spa Party, so they got to swim, paint their nails and toes, have a mask put on and wear robes and slippers all day and night. Finally I dragged them away protesting at 9pm. ( File this under "What a Life"...) Big girls need a party like this, but the party lady said it is only for girls up to 17, think I can pass ???

Preschool Days at Christ Lutheran

Today was PVC ( not plastic pipes, Parent Volunteer Club) Once a month a group of parents meet and do a craft or activity with the preschool kids. This month was our first meeting (this is my fourth year, 2 with Lauren and 2 with Emma). The first month we always do feeling bins, the kids get to touch all kinds of different items, pumpkins, cooked pasta, dry pasta, flour, goop, flubber, fabric, cotton balls, dry rice and beans, & wet sponges. As you can see a good times is had by all. The preschool director said that it is as much about the parents learning that messy is okay, then what the kids get out of it. Chapel Party Emma's preschool had a Chapel party on Tuesday. The kids go to the Chapel every week and sing songs with Pastor Joe (Emma's preschool is also a Church). This week parents were invited to come and see what Chapel time is all about. After singing we were invited to have a snack with the kids, Jamba Juice and Bagels with cream cheese. Kids having their snack. One of Emma's teachers, Ms. Tracy. She has two teachers because there are 24 kids in the class.
