Lauren's team had its first practice Friday night. She was excited to see a girl from her Kindergarten class on the team.

Emma's preschool class baked a cookie shaped like their hand and she wanted to save some for Lauren to try.....what a kind girl, only this is how much she saved. She even wrote a L on the bag. Well Michael & I had a good laugh about it !
Coat Closet

Emma had a super small closet & we had a coat closet that sat right next to it on the opposite side of the wall, so the coat closet had to go to capture the space to enlarge Emma's closet. Where you see the carpet in this picture is Emma's closet, and the tile is where the coat closet was.

I must tell you how well made the doll and clothes are . Lauren got a guitar for her doll and it is a real working guitar that can be tuned. Everything is very nicely made.

The girls got an American Girl Doll from Aunt Stacie, and they got some duplicate outfits so we took a trip to "The Grove" where the American Girl store is, to make an exchange. Well nobody told the American Girl store about the economy ! That place was humming.
We hit Bob's Big Boy and then drove down Hollywood Blvd. to see the crazy people, they did not disappoint. We saw Elvis, Tinkerbell, Batman....and of course the bums. Very exciting Sunday drive.
We hit Bob's Big Boy in Burbank, on our way to "The Grove" shopping center. When I was a kid & Bob's was still in the SCV, I called it "Bob's house".
See puddle in front of pantry, looks like olive oil, maybe I can pretend I didn't see it and the cleaning elf, that Cassie is waiting for, will show up and clean it, not likely but one can dream.
So the cooking spray like exploded or leaked in the pantry, dripped from one shelf to the next & then to the floor ???? It is so glamorous to stay at home.

Daddy & Lauren went to the Kings game, so Emma & I broke out the Easy Bake oven.

We hit what was left of the snow in Fraser Park, we had to drive all the way to the top of Mt. Pinos, but there was more then enough for a fun day of sledding. A day or two later and we would have been out of luck. Of course, Lauren fell off the sled on her first run and banged up her forehead pretty good, she has a big boo boo. Lucky for her she has bangs !
