Mommy Goes To Preschool

Emma's Preschool invited parents to come to school and read a book, cook or do an art project with the entire class, so crazy me I signed up to do a craft with 24 preschoolers.The sample Emma & I made at home. Spray painted all the frames Some of the finished products. I survived, but just barely.....

It poured here this weekend and that seemed fitting, we got some devastating news Sunday morning, a family friend who was near and dear to our hearts passed away with no warning and we are heart broken for his wife and young children.

Visiting Senior Home for Valentine's Day ! Emma horning in on the fun ! Lauren's Girl Scout Troop visited a local Senior home and brought Valentine's and sang some songs !

Setting the scene: Emma & I sitting in the car during Lauren's softball practice, me reading, her climbing back and forth between the front and back seat. Emma: "Are you reading in your mind ?" Me: "yes" (Placing her head to mine) Emma: Okay, I will put my head to yours so I can hear the story". After a few seconds Emma: "I can't hear the story".

African Porcupine

I just had to share this because in all honesty I don't think I have ever seen a Porcupine in real life, not even at the zoo ( that I remember, and that is not saying a lot) . A wild life rescue had animals on display at the Hart Field on opening day.
