Michael and Lauren riding Journey to Atlantis, Mommy and Emma could not ride because Emma was not tall enough to ride. (Which is wonderful, because Mommy hates the big drops and she was very happy not to ride and get all wet. )

At the bottom of this picture, you can see a camera and a hint of a Shamu stuffed animal, a women was sitting Indian style * with her camera and a Shamu stuffie, this Killer Whale was really attracted to the stuffed animal, it was really neat, the whale kept coming to the window again and again to get close to the spot where the stuffie was.

* If you don't have a school age kid, you may not know that they don't call it "Indian style" anymore, I guess that is offensive to the Indians, it is now called " Cris-Cross Applesauce ". But I will continue to call it Indian style. I guess I am getting old and set in my ways (hehehhehe).

Kidding, we went to Legoland and everything you see above is made of Legos. Amazing stuff.

Michael to the Rescue

Went to the gas station (painful enough), got gas, go to leave, battery dead, no problem it is only 108 degrees. Call AAA, only one hour wait. Call Michael, he goes to auto parts, buys new battery and comes and installs it , all before AAA shows up. Daddy to the rescue.

(This is not intended to put down AAA, they have helped me out of many a jam and all women should have it. ) .
And yes, I had my camera, you never know when you will need it.

The Pottery Barn Catalog Does Not Live Here

The Pottery Barn Kids catalog is a cruel joke, they should have to put a warning on each page to tell you that even if you buy everything, in the beautiful pictures, your child's room will never ever look as good as those pictures. Because NO Children live in the Pottery Barn Kids catalog rooms.

Today I had all of 5 minutes of Pottery Barn bliss. I cleaned Emma's room so nicely. And then she came and she had the nerve to bring junk from another room with her .............and it all began to unravel.

Attacked by a Penguin

I know he does not look menacing , but he attacked poor Emma Jean.








So here is the real deal, the cool mist humidifier was sitting on the bathroom counter in pieces drying and Emma was wallowing on the bathroom floor while I was getting ready for the day, and I bumped Mr. Penguin and his body fell on Emma noggin. She got a mini pop-knot, but I asure you she will make a complete recovery.
